A number of local councils in Britain have banned Latin words, because they say they might confuse people.Some local councils say using Latin is elitist and discriminatory, because some people might not understand it - particularly if English is not their first language.But the ban has prompted anger among some Latin scholars. Professor Mary Beard of Cambridge University said it was the linguistic equivalent of ethnic cleansing.

European Day of Languages

Our  school has celebrated, today, the European Day of Languages with a meeting,  of  groups of students, in the common library; after a brief introduction and information, the groups started to work about the topic chosen:" The power of Languages", preparing some posters.Meanwhile a  fun atmosphere, some tea with biscuits, time to share ideas and thoughts.



The students were from different courses of studies :Class 3A SPP, 4B Sc.Soc., 3D Aut.
